September 2009 Update!
Sup peeps its been a while since I've checked in with y'all with an update.
So here's a quickie!
I've been kinda quiet over the last few months, reason being that
after doing extensive auditions and finally finding my drummer Darryn who u can be seen on my vlog, it turned out in the end that he wasn't the right guy!! Total bummer, so I've had to go back to the drawing board and find myself someone else!! Ahh dont u just love the music biz huh? lol
But all is finally well in the Blu camp and my manager and I are now looking for suitable gigs around the country. Its been quite a journey I can tell u. Lots of stops and starts lol
Have been offered a guest slot for an hour on Afromentals for Sirius Satellite Radio which I'm I'm practically jumpin out of my seat over! lol
I'll be playing tracks from my album and unsigned acts who I feel are up and coming!
Its a great opportunity for me so I'm pretty stoked. Thanx Dj Jamad!
Got another vlog comin up soon and lookin to start my 2nd album beginning of next year! So holla at me if u wanna collab.
All in all got lots of things to concentrate on and lookin forward to what the next four months will bring before the end of the year.
Keep chekin in hopefully I'll be playin in a town near u soon.

Update!
Sup peeps.
Jus thought I'd give u all an update of whats been happening recently in Blu's world!
Well my first live gig is in about two weeks time, I'm soo excited bout that as its the first time I'll have played out my traks from my Debut Album (STANDING WITH GIANTS!) live! I'll be playin about 6 traks and sharing the stage with three other acts,( not at the same time I must add) LOL, all different genres. Should be a great nite at The Mother Bar!
At the moment the band consists of myself, Ali Smith(Keyboards) and Darryn Shepherd(Drums) - both great players.
As the band and gigs evolve, I'm hoping to bring on a bass player as well and eventually add a Dj. But I better not run b4 I can walk lol so for now the line up will be just the three of us.
Also I'm particularly stoked about my new video diaries which tracks the final audition stage for my search for a drummer to the rehearsals stage and then to to the first live gig and backstage etc.
That will be up on my YouTube channel and website in the next two weeks!
Also I have a new manager Ryan Mclelland (damn I can never spell his name correctly) Soz Ry, who's from New York he's amazing and I feel truly blessed to have him on board!
Have been getting quite a lot of reviews of late which is exciting and there should be more to come.
All in all its been a great couple of months for me, I cant wait to start playing live and getting out there to the peeps and dropping my album to everyone.
There is also some remixes coming soon as u know I've already dropped one by the Amazingly talented Electronica artist from New York... KRTS.
ALso I'll be dropping a DnB remix from The Artist LM1 a highly regarded and talented Drum n Bass artist from Edinburgh! And hopefully an ambient remix by the amazing artist Indigo Sync!
Phew...so much happening I cant contain myself!! LOL
So as u can see busy and excting times ahead for the Blu-Ster!!
So I think I'll stop there and get out of here b4 I explode!
